Consider me very obsessed with Holly & Andrew’s St Louis Art Museum & Botanical Gardens engagement session!! Holly is also a photographer, so it was so fun to chat about her vision for their session! They moved their original wedding date up by 6 moths, so we ended up expediting their engagement session plans! They booked their wedding date and we planned their engagement for that week! There was rain in the forecast, but instead of rescheduling we just adjusted the plan a bit!

We had originally planned on the Botanical Gardens, but pivoted to the Art Museum when it looked like it was going to be a rainy afternoon! When Holly & Andrew arrived, the rain was holding off so we captured a few portraits outside of the museum. These ended up being some of my favorites! It’s such a classic St Louis location. It started raining so we made our way in to the museum! Holly loves the Monet Waterlily’s painting, and her inspiration for the session came from there! She envisioned candids of them strolling by the painting, and I’m so obsessed with how her vision came to life!

When we left the museum, the rain had stopped! We decided we still wanted to make their St Louis Botanical Gaden vision come to life, so they did a quick outfit change and met at the gardens! Holly and I both loved this stone building. It started raining again, but Holly and Andrew were so chill – they added a clear umbrella and we kept shooting!

I can’t tell you how excited I am for their wedding – this week!! Holly has such great style, and I love how much thought she puts into the details!
