Emily & Carlos’ Strathalbyn Farms Club wedding day was so, so stunning! These two have truly some killer style. You can see their Forest Park and Central West End engagement session here! Their wedding day started with them getting ready at the St Louis Ritz Carlton. They exchanged sweet letters, and Emily did a surprise reveal with all of her bridesmaids!
I love when brides share my love for details. It makes me SO happy when they pop over to peek in on the flatlays. I LOVE all of the pops of blue Emily included in their day! She hand made the envelope liners in her gorgeous stationary, and if you look closely at her Loeffer Randall shoes, you’ll see that she had them custom embossed with their initials.
Before heading off to Christ the King Church in St Louis, they saw each other for the first time in the courtyard of the Ritz Carlton. This was such a sweet moment! I loved this idea – first looks can be short, but so, so sweet! After the ceremony, we snapped a few portraits on the beautiful stairs outside of the church and headed off to the reception at Strathalbyn Farms!
The main building at Strathalbyn is SO, SO cute. I had visited the location beforehand to scout out portrait locations and just knew we would have to take bridesmaid photos there! Especially since I knew Emily was having all of her girls in mismatched, patterned bridesmaid dresses which really popped in front of the white building! After portraits, they entered their reception into the gorgeous tented area out back of the building, overlooking the beautiful landscape of the farm.
I really can’t say enough how much I adored every detail from this day! Les Bouquets did such an incredible job on the florals. The pops of blue hydrangeas in the centerpieces paired with the vintage brass table number stands and china with the Strathalbyn Farms crest was all so beautiful! Even down to the delicate heart shaped vintage inspired cake cutting set. All so perfect!
Emily and Carlos were able to step just outside the tent for a few quick sunset portraits. I always LOVE how these turn out. You can’t beat the glowy sunset light + the glow of the couple enjoying the day with their closest friends and family. Following dinner and speeches, these two danced the night away! It was such an honor to be a part of this perfect day. Congratulations to Emily and Carlos!
