Kathryn and Michael had such a beautiful and timeless wedding day at The Grand Hall at Power and Light! Emily of I.E. Design House curated the feel of the day so that every element was cohesive to match the couple’s elegant vision.
They chose an emerald green, white, and gold color scheme for the design. For the invitations, Kathryn hand-poured and created the wax seals herself! It was such a beautiful, thoughtful detail.
Their first look was so sweet! They wanted to truly enjoy their wedding day, and were so excited to be married.
We chose architectural backgrounds like the Kauffman Center and the Licoln Memorial for their photos that reflected the elegant, city setting of their wedding day in downtown Kansas City. They then had their wedding ceremony at the Grand Hall of Power and Light, surrounded by white and green florals and gold and black design accents.
Following the ceremony, Kathryn & Michael snuck up to the roof of the building for sunset portraits. It was so dreamy! For the reception, tables with emerald green velvet linens were set up among the ballroom with romantic candles and greenery.
