Safe to say that I am OBSESSED with this New Town St Charles photography session! It was a seriously gorgeous day in February, so I was itching to get outside. My fellow photographer friend Candice texted me that she wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather and had organized a mini styled shoot here in New Town. We had the best time!

Candice had asked her friend Lauren to model – she was a total natural in front of the camera! I also took advantage of this spontaneous shoot by getting a little creative with a few shots. The sunset was SO gorgeous, and the light was extra bright and golden. I decided not to shy away from letting the light into my lens and I’m so glad that I did! I ended up with these gorgeous lens flares that look extra dreamy on film, and a beautiful, golden haze in a few shots that I just love!

New Town is also one of my all-time favorite photo shoot locations. It’s full of so much charm, and there are so many great backdrops within walking distance! This spot by the water always looks extra dreamy at sunset.
