Happy Halloween! I don’t think there could be a more perfect fall session to share for the occasion than this New Town St. Charles fall lifestyle session ft. The cutest pup! I have known Kelsey and Shawn since college! It’s so sweet to see them now married and with their adorable pup Demi.

I mean… can we talk about their outfits?! Seriously can’t get over it. Like hi Kelsey can you please be my stylist?! I also couldn’t get over how well their dog Demi did! She sat and smiled at the camera no problem.

I love photographing friends but I definitely always get more nervous sending them sneak peeks. Any photog friends feel this?! I was OBSESSED with the images and was SO excited by Kelsey’s reaction! We had an ongoing text conversation of excited gifs any time I would send more sneak peeks and especially when I got the film in!

 

 

I am so so obsessed with the result and I can’t even tell you how happy Kelsey’s reaction to the final gallery made me! I really love my job  you guys haha. And let me tell you, it is BUSY SEASON. It’s so nice to have sessions like this to remind me that all of this crazy business is 1,000% worth it.

As always, Portra 400 film perfectly captured these beautiful fall colors. Fall on film (and pups on film!) is just the best. And New Town St. Charles made for the perfect fall backdrop!
