How beautiful is this Roses and Mint bouquet?! There’s almost nothing I love more than shooting a beautiful bouquet of flowers on film! The day of this shoot, I woke up feeling totally inspired and wanting to get out my camera. My plan was to just stop by the grocery store and throw together a bouquet to photograph.

Luckily for me, I was scrolling through Instagram and saw that Roses and Mint were selling a few bouquets for day-of pick up! I ordered just a small arrangement that I could play around with and went down the street to pick it up. Kira, who is literally the sweetest ever, let me choose between a few different color options. However, she had already picked one out that she new I would love and she was totally right!

Instead of the small arrangement I had ordered, she handed me this huge, insanely gorgeous bouquet. Seriously, the Roses and Mint team is just the best. So, I set up my DIY linen styling board (blog post to come!) outside on the balcony and had the best time photographing these beautiful florals.

 

 

I was SO excited to get the scans back from The Find Lab. Florals on film are just magical and I couldn’t wait to see. They totally surpassed my expectations! The way that Kodak Porta 400 film captured the coloring in these florals has me totally obsessed.

Shooting personal projects is so important to me. I absolutely love these photos and I’m so glad I woke up inspired that day to shoot something just for me. And so glad, of course, that Roses and Mint was having a sale and that they were so kind to give me such a beautiful arrangement!
